Beau B. | 2010 Senior KHS

Beau B. is a wrestler for KHS and is in such good shape that his abs have abs! Ab-mazing!

Beau's grandfather passed away recently, and Beau had a tattoo in his honor placed on his shoulder blade. The black-and-white photo is a sample of what we call a fine art portrait.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Pike Family

The Pike family won a gift certificate for their session at a church auction. I think I did this session in record time because the storm clouds were starting to look ominous.

Karen & Allen | engagement session

Although Karen and Allen's wedding isn't until spring, the fall foliage was a perfect background for these two love birds.

Brian C. | Senior 2010 Trenton HS

Like most of our guys, Brian wanted to keep his senior portrait session short and sweet. The only "must gets" were with his truck and his gun.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Sampson Kids

It's hard to believe that it's been a little over a year that I first photographed the Sampson boys, Corbin and Kolton. This year Chad and Mackenzie added a baby girl to their family, Madelyn.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Lunsford Kids | children's session

Despite the cold and gloomy weather, Morgan and Jacob were all smiles for their session. Jacob just turned "the big one" so his parents wanted some portraits to mark the occasion.

Here are some of my favorites.

Michelle L. | 2010 Senior Scotland Co. HS

Michelle L. just moved from Virginia Beach to Memphis, Missouri. She came to our studio with her friend, McKinsay, a few weeks ago for her senior session. Michelle saw how much fun McKinsay was having that she booked her own session, and we are so glad she did.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Morgan & Harley

The day we shot Morgan's senior pictures the weather was not cooperating, so she wasn't able to bring her dad's Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The weather was a little better the day she came to pick up her proofs. And I'm sooo glad they were able to bring the Harley that day!

Taylor L. | 2010 KHS Senior

Taylor L. wasn't all about getting his pictures taken...until we started talking about his hunting guns and camo.

His mom said he would be a challenge to make smile...but somehow there was this invisible girl always walking nearby asking for his phone number who made him smile from ear to ear.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Neely Miller | children's session

What a ray of sunshine! Miss Neely, as I like to call her, was a ball of energy. And a big thanks to her grandpa for letting her use his newly restored John Deere tractor and trike for her portraits.

Bubbles | our new baby girl

On Saturday, the stork stopped by our house and dropped off our 12-week-old puppy named Bubbles!

We're making great progress crate training her. It took us about 12 hours on Sunday to get her to potty outside. On Monday night, she slept through most of the night without whining. The whining seems to be the biggest challenge at this point, but a quick spray from the water gun makes her simmer down.

This picture is of her getting mad at me for putting her in the crate. I had no idea something so small could look so menacing. She must have picked up that trait from John. LOL.

Our nine-year-old Maltese, Chipper, seems to be taking to her well...so long as she doesn't get to close, although he's getting better about it. I tried to get them to play together, but he's not too keen on the idea.

However, on Tuesday night, Chipper carried around Bubbles' squeaky toy, trying his hardest to DESTROY that dang squeaker inside that thing! Meanwhile, Bubbles chased him around the house at warp speed trying to get it from him, to no avail! LOL! John and I about died laughing at these two yahoos!
