Davis Family

Meredith, Chad, and their two adorable little girls, Logan and Morgan, came to see us just before Christmas.

To say that Logan, the oldest, loves the camera would be an understatement! To make her feel even more FAB-ulous, we brought out our supermodel fan to give her hair some movement...and she worked it like she had been doing if her whole life!!

Three Generations | family session

Our friend and former ATSU co-worker Lori, her mother, Joan, and Lori's daughter, Laurel, make three generations of strong, intelligent, and beautiful women.

Lori wanted a generational portrait that was simple, elegant, and timeless. We captured these shots just before we left for Christmas break.

Darling Family

Large family sessions freak me out a little bit because I never know what to expect. But the Darling family was the exception! All the kids were polite and well-behaved, which made the session a breeze.

Lyons Family

John's sister, Jana, and her family, husband Melvin and the twins, Allison and Blake, came up from KC for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Allison is usually the big ham, but a bellyache kept her from showing me her true diva style. Instead, Blake picked up the slack and showed us his GQ moves.

The first picture goes to show you that there are lots of hands that go into making a Studio 1004 shot look flawless!! Thanks Jana and John, glam squad members. :)

Simmons Family

When the Simmons children arrived, they sat on our couch and waited like little angels as I got my gear together. I told Sheri that her well-behaved children made me want some of my own! Cute, cute, cute!

Terrell Family

The rainy weather tried to put a damper on the Terrell Family session but Valinda was not going to have that.

We used an umbrella to get around and keep Valinda's hair from going flat.

Pike Family

The Pike family won a gift certificate for their session at a church auction. I think I did this session in record time because the storm clouds were starting to look ominous.

Maag Girls

OMG, OMG, O!M!G! During our session with the Maag girls, Sophie and Delaney, I didn't have a lot of time to check the images on the back of the camera. The girls were moving so fast, and I was just trying to keep up.

Back at the studio, I started downloading the images and realized what little angels I had captured.

The first picture makes the little hairs on the back of my neck stand up! Delaney's hair, their expressions, the sunlight filtering through the trees. It all came together perfectly. What's so weird is that I don't even remember shooting it.

I feel so blessed, so lucky, so indebted to our clients for allowing me to do what I love. Thanks Karrie and Donnie for allowing me to be a part of your family!

Schlumpberger Family

The Schlumpberger family and their friends from California were in Knox County visiting family last week. Rhonda Schlumpberger is the aunt of one of our 2009 seniors, Ali P.

We are truly humbled and honored that Rhonda wanted us to take their family portrait knowing that there are hundreds of great photographers in California.
