Kids Day | Adair County Ambulance District

The Adair County Ambulance District is hosting its 12th Annual Kids Day, May 15.

The event will take place at 606 Potter Ave from 10am to 1pm. There will be a giant slide, a jump house, free food, refreshments and giveaways.

Presentations by the Kirksville Fire Department, Adair County Sheriff's Department, Air Evac, and Missouri Highway Patrol.

You will also be able to register to win a free children's session from us!

Sheep Incognito | Conni Togel

While in Atlanta, GA, last month for the Dogwood Festival, we saw some of the most spectacular art in the world.

The art pieces that caught my attention the most were from artist Conni Togel from Anderson, SC. "Sheep Incognito" are whimsical, witty, and bursting with color!

Furniture Sale | Studio 1004

I'm doing some spring cleaning at the studio, and I have some furniture that I would like to sell.

This antique table has wings that pop up for a wider top and has wheels to roll around. I'd call it a writing table or could be used as a night stand. I'd like $125.



This tufted executive chair is also ready for a new home. It's in great shape. No cracks in the leather. This chair new sells for $1,600. On eBay, the chair goes for $400. But we're selling it for only $175!



We've got a lot more furniture like an antique oak desk, and three dark wood chests with doors.

Good life, good time

Bubbles and Chipper spend most of their time at home guarding the house while I'm at the studio. Lately, I've been forcing myself to leave the office on time to spend an hour in the back yard with them. This is what I could have missed earlier this week. It was such a picturesque afternoon. The blue sky, the green grass, and the white, wispy clouds.

Our lawn looks like a golf course because John is very particular! LOL!

In Memory of Charlie

Our dear friend Brooke lost her 13 year old chocolate lab, Charlie, today. "Charlie had a full and free life out in the country," said Brooke.

We went out to Brooke's house a few weeks ago to see Charlie.
