Here is a sneak peek at our "early bird special" post card heading out this week for 2010 seniors.

Anyhoot, here is the breakdown:
2010 seniors get 75% off their portrait session fee.
Studio session: regularly $95; now $23.75
Hollywood session: regularly $125; now $31.25
Superstar session: regularly $200; now $50.00

As you might imagine, with these prices our phone is ringing off the hook and session times are filling up fast.

Jason & Gayle | e-session

Jason and Gayle are getting married June 20th here in Kirksville. Jason is an avid skydiver, and Gayle has learned to like jumping out of a plane, too!

Here are some of my favorite shots from their e-session (engagement session), which comes FREE with their wedding package.

By the way, they did think I was a little crazy for posing them in the middle of a highway, but I sure am glad they didn't fight me on it! I love that shot! Truly one of my favorites!

Twister Touchdown | Kirksville, Mo.

As a former television reporter, I have seen my fair share of tornado destruction, but this time it was personal. This time, I could sympathize even more because those affected were friends and friends of friends.

As our new summer intern, Kate Elrod, and I walked around and looked at all of the destruction in Lakeside Estates on the north end of Kirksville, it looked like a bomb had been detonated inside of homes. Here are some photos of the aftermath.

Baby O'brien

Our friends Jodie and Lee are having a baby in the next few weeks! They stopped by last week with their son, Logan, for some baby bump shots.

Foxy Cleopatra! a.k.a. Ali P.

OMG! I am haunted by this first portrait of our friend and client, Ali. I love the Afro, the earrings, the attitude. I freakin' LOVE IT ALL! Way to rock it out, Ali!

Ali is one of our 2009 seniors from Knox County High School. This session is for her model portfolio, and we were honored to be a part of it.

Ali, don't forget about me when you're walking the runways of Milan, Italy not Missouri!

Pawsitive Animalworks | K-9 session

Our good friend, Laci, is revamping her website and needed some new dog shots! Here are some of my favorites.

The Pinkertons | family session

Family sessions can be fun and a challenge...especially when there is a two-year-old involved.



Carter was not a big fan of family portraits inside the studio...but we got him distracted outside and managed to get a few shots.



Little Riley was a doll inside and outside. In that black-and-white picture...I can almost hear her giggling!
