Fiesta San Antonio

For the past three years, John and I have taken some vacation time in April to visit our friends in San Antonio. For two weeks, San Antonio is brimming with people for Fiesta! Fiesta is a
two-week party with parades, silly hats and confetti-filled eggs. The Battle of the Flowers Parade starts at noon on Friday, then we head to the Bonham Exchange...the best nightclub in town. By 3 p.m., the club is jam packed with people, and most of them are three sheets to the wind. It's a blast! Here are some of the moments I captured with my Canon 40D.

Catherine and Will

Cat and Will were the first couple to jump on the Studio 1004 wagon. It was back in January when Catherine called asking for our services. We were truly flattered. Our website had only been live for a month or so. How they found us, I still don't know, but I sure am glad. Here are a few of my favorite shots of their engagement session this weekend.

Ryan and Jessica

We met Ryan and Jessica at the La Plata Wedding Expo. Ryan was a little apprehensive about our ability to shoot weddings since technically I had never been hired to shoot one. But in the end, they gave us a chance.

Here are some of the engagement photos we captured this weekend in St. Joseph, Mo. They are such a charismatic couple. It easy to tell how much they love each other.
