Jake P. | KHS Senior 2010

With just more than two weeks left of school, our friend Jake realized he needed to get his senior pictures taken.

Here are some of my favorites.

Patsy L. | KHS Senior 2010

Patsy L. is a 2010 senior at Kirksville High School. She wasn't too thrilled about getting her pictures taken, but her mother insisted, and we are soooo glad she did!

Here are some of my favorites.

Dakota D. | KHS 2010 Senior

It was the coldest day in the week but that wasn't going to stop Dakota or I from heading outside for his senior portraits.

Of course that day, I left my jacket and gloves at home. However, that wasn't too bad compared to Dakota taking his shirt off for a few shots! He's such a rebel!

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Emily L. | KHS Senior 2010

Emily is a star basketball player! She's quiet and shy at first...but she quickly showed me her softer side when I asked her to Vogue for me!

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Charles N. | KHS Senior 2010

Charles has a natural gift for anything mechanical. So, it was only obvious to his mom that some of his senior portraits include his mechanic shop.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Ryan H. | 2010 Senior KHS

Ryan H. is a pretty mellow guy and didn't require much for his senior session but his skateboard and his guitar were a must.

For his first shot, I played around with some light filters. I knew his shirt and board were green, so I splashed some green light on the board to make it pop! I think it gave it a little something extra.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Beau B. | 2010 Senior KHS

Beau B. is a wrestler for KHS and is in such good shape that his abs have abs! Ab-mazing!

Beau's grandfather passed away recently, and Beau had a tattoo in his honor placed on his shoulder blade. The black-and-white photo is a sample of what we call a fine art portrait.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Brian C. | Senior 2010 Trenton HS

Like most of our guys, Brian wanted to keep his senior portrait session short and sweet. The only "must gets" were with his truck and his gun.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Taylor L. | 2010 KHS Senior

Taylor L. wasn't all about getting his pictures taken...until we started talking about his hunting guns and camo.

His mom said he would be a challenge to make smile...but somehow there was this invisible girl always walking nearby asking for his phone number who made him smile from ear to ear.

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Whitney P. | 2010 KHS Senior

Whitney P. is beautiful, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous. During her senior session, there were times I caught myself taking a double look at her because she looked like a life-size Barbie doll!

Here are some of my favorite shots.

Emma C. | KHS Senior 2010

"I want something really different." We hear this from our high school seniors all the time about their portraits.

Well, we pride ourselves in giving our seniors what they want...so long as it's safe. One time I had a senior ask me to have a pipe bomb explode in the background. "Ummmmm....how about a fog machine instead," I said.

Emma had two cheerleading outfits that she wanted in one picture. But instead of just hanging them in the background or laying them on the floor...we decided to put her in them and photoshop the two images into one.

Here are some of my favorites from her session.
