Channing M. | 1 year

I was in the hospital room with our friend Rachel when Channing came into the world. Over the past year, we've shared many evenings with Rachel watching Channing grow. But the most memorable day was when we (John, Rachel, and I) decided to take a road trip to do some shopping in Columbia.

While in Target, I strapped on a new Baby Bjorn to see if it was something we wanted to purchase. Well, of course that's when Channing decides to have a major poop.

I'm speed walking through the aisles pinching my nose and trying not to vomit from the smell. John and I take her to the bathroom and as he pulls her out of the sling we realize there was run off and it's about to run down my leg! Oh the memories we've made.

Bailey Noelle M. | First Birthday

Our good friend Crazy Rachel (Rachel Malen Hettinger) came up from Springfield for a visit to celebrate her daughter Bailey's first birthday.

I've also added this youtube video of our trip to La Grange, Missouri with Rachel for a night of gambling at Terrible's Casino. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for the laughter...it just happens when we're all together. By the way, Chipper is our dog and the "Roller Skate" is John's car.
