Scotland Clark | children's session

Children tug on my heartstrings all the time with their unconditional love and frankness. But none have done it quite like Scotland! Born with Down Syndrome, Scotland is a bundle of energy and love.

Down Syndrome occurs in one out of every 733 live births, and more than 400,000 people in the U.S. have this genetic condition. Thanks to research and science, individuals with Down Syndrome are living longer and more active lives than ever before. To learn more about Down Syndrome visit the National Down Syndrome Society website.

Here are some of my favorite shots from Scotland's portrait session along with her brother and sister, Sullivan and Paislee. I also love the family shot of the Clarks.
